There were some scuffs on the blade when I got it, and I used a Scotch Brite pad to get the scuffs out... now they are barely noticeable.. but it kind of removed the Stripes on the blade... to me this is a plus, but to each his own! It actually looks pretty dang cool because the stripes are shinier than the portion with just the bead blasting! There are some very light dings or something around the non-lock pivot area which were there when I got this guy... They are barely noticeable, but worth mentioning to someone like me. The previous owner used his EdgePro to put a WICKED 40deg inclusive edge on this mother... it is perfect! ...and I mean badass. Another note on the edge, is it is nice and thin! I expected it to be overly thick, but it is REALLY NICE! ...it does get a little thicker toward the tip, but still likely a MEAN cutter! I have not cut anything with it.
