Fluted ball capstan on tiered, flat top pommel. Silver wire, cut to simulate rope, wrapped “polished” grained horn grip. Silver round ferrule and straight flat crossguard engraved with a floral design and shaped. 6 5/8” darkened, double-edged blade with a high ridge center. Matching horn scabbard with ten silver “pins” on borders and relief rose/floral work on throat and tip. A well-made, quality early 19th Century weapon.
