Singer Featherweight 221 w Case Book Attachments Works This was an estate sale purchase. I invested the money and took it to my sewing machine repairman. He is a wizard with machines. He cleaned it and oiled it and tells me it is running great. Motor is in fine condition and this little treasure hums. I'd like to keep it, but I already have 3 machines. He replaced the cord on the foot. As for what is in the case with the machine, I'm not really knowledgeable so please, please ask questions. The gold decals/decoration are complete and I don't see any losses. Someone asked if there was any rust? I don't see any and my repairman would have mentioned it for sure. He is a perfectionist. The case is in pretty good shape. Handle has wear. The clasps work, one better than the other. I don't find the key in the box. The machine has the fancy scroll front plate. It has it's original instruction book. The serial number on the bottom of the machine is AE083978. There are 2 boxes of attachments that he tells me are not original to the machine. They were with it, so I'm leaving them. One of the boxes has the number 120360 on the side. There are attachments in the pull out tray. I'll try to list the numbers on the attachments. 36583, which by looking at the book is a "tucker". A "binder", no number. 161127 that I think is the zipper foot. 15429? 25527?. There is also a Singer Adjustable Zigzag Attachment 121706 that has a separate instruction book. The postage quoted is for all over the United States. However, if after the auction closes and you live near me, I'll adjust the postage to reflect actual shipping. We do not charge handling fees. Paypal is the only payment method we accept. E checks are taking up to 7 days to clear. We do not ship until the e check has cleared. Shipping is via USPS Priority mail. When the item is small and it is safe, we use First Class Mail. Printed material is sent media rate. We do not charge handling fees. IF you don't agree with the shipping shown here in the auction, do not bid. We ask that you send your shipping address within 3 days of close of auction! We do not charge handling fees or packing material costs. We do not allow pick ups and we do not deliver. Insurance is optional. Since we pack very well we are not responsible for loss or damage once the items leave us.
