This is truly a One-of-Kind item for the ultimate collector of surfer memorabilia. I acquired the display as part of  a charity auction last year in August from an eBayer who had Stan Lee sign the surfboard at Comic-Con 2007.   I bought the item because I was putting together an awesome Silver Surfer meets Stan Lee collection. I had the signed surfboard displayed alongside some other collectibles but unfortunately I never had the room to assemble the entire theatrical display. So I've decided to sell it and build my collection around some smaller pieces. For those of you who have seen the full size movie display (I presume that includes everyone reading this listing) -  it is humongous. The entire package occupies 12 x 13 feet and is about 8 feet tall. The board alone is 10 feet long. Stan Lee signed his name with black permanent marker on the front end of the board and made it a nice and BIG - 5" x 3.5". A photo showing Stan Lee signing the item is attached.This listing is for the entire theatrical display with Stan Lee autographed surfboard. It comes with absolutely all the pieces including the skyscraper back drop, side boards, metal stand, screws, instruction on how to assemble and, of course, the full size action-posed surfer statue.  The surfer's body and board are in superb condition. The board is wooden and is wrapped in a shiny chrome mylar (or something similar). It has a scratch on it but does not penetrate through the foil or take away from the signature. The body is made of some kind of plastic or resin much like a store mannequin.  There are tiny scuffs in places around the body/arms/legs etc.. (afterall, this was on public display at a movie theater) but nothing blatant or otherwise affecting the quality or integrity of the overall display. . I think the California climate has done good for my Surfer's cosmic complexion. The backdrop and side boards are made of cardboard and have been stored in a dry/cool environment - the printed image and integrity of the cardboard is excellent. Please note that they have been handled during disassembly and therefor have creases and folds in certain areas near the ends. This was unavoidable. However, rest assured that all relevant image areas are in excellent condition and fit for display. The iron stand is composed of 3 parts. They are painted black and all are in great condition. Please ask for more photos if there are specific areas of interest. - for those that are truly motivated to bid I will go over it with a fine tooth comb and send photos.  There are too many pieces to upload all images to eBay. This is going to be expensive for me to ship (if you want the whole thing) so I want to be sure you are totally informed and happy about your purchase.
