He agreed to perform the beginning torture scene naked, but requested a closed set during filming. WARDROBE away team jumpsuit worn by PATRICK STEWART in the episode "Chain of Command" 1 & 2. I own three versions of this costume all worn by Patrick Stewart in the episode. The original away team costume in a heavy fabric, the lightweight version to be ripped with the knife at the neck by one of the Gul's henchmen, and the fully torn down to the knees version. No stuntmen or doubles were employed for these scenes in episode 2 and all the costumes match for size. The version worn by Dr Crusher was sold on ebay by IAW, and the one worn by Worf has not been sold, but would be huge considering Dorn's height, and shoulder width. All 3 pieces came originally from IAW in the same bag. Unfortunately like so many TNG tags the tag is almost completely faded although the show name is still there. The costume probably had a grueling time in the cave sets so the sweat seems to have eaten away the original penned in name and time has done the rest since 1992 when the episode was first made! The other "ripped" costumes were tagless because they are pulled off his body and the tag would have been seen.The version for sale is the complete, unripped costume pictured below. It has ground in dirt in places but otherwise mint condition and looks beautiful. Its hard to take pictures of but the best I could do is below. The velcro is in place for the costumes gun and tricorder that do not come with this costume. There are no gloves or headpiece either.The COA comes from myself, with a copy of the original COA, which obviously does not say the above as the costume was originally thought to be a background costume. It took even me a little while to work out what it actually was.....nuff said. The above are my observations, and of others who have seen the costume. If you disagree then please don't bid.
