It shows a beautiful sea lion (or seal) cub and her mother. It is by the very famous British artist A. E. Kennedy. Forgive the poor quality of the scan. The original has bright, rich colors. The print is on thick paper and is a one-sided plate (meaning it was printed separately from the text and bound in afterwards). The page measures approx. 7x9.5 inches, and the actual image area is about 6x8 inches. The page is in excellent condition for its age. This is NOT a recent copy or modern reproduction, but a GENUINE vintage item. I was unable to find a copyright date, but it at least 60 and probably 70 years old.
