It is in the old brown box with gold lettering and it does show some wear on the corners. It was made in the now closed Scharde Factory in Ellenville, NY. and will never be made again since all schrade knives are manufactured in China. The knife has never been used carried or sharpened. The knife was purchased at an estate sale and will need cleaning and buffing.
