Description
This is Knifemaker/Designer Rocky Moser first folder/prototype. Rocky's designs have been marketed by Smith & Wesson and Colt. An fine example of inovative mechanical design and elegant simplicity. The knife flows, edges are radiused, there is no no nail nick in the blade. From the closed position pushing the ivory button pops the blade up about .25 inch to allow the owner to bring the blade to the open locked position. The blade rotates through a detent mechanism which provides a very pleasant tactile feel. The frame is integral, made from one piece of stainless steel. The scales and back spacer is made from ivory. The ivory scales are perfectly profiled to the frame. The late Rick B. Fields scrimshawed a fantasy bird of prey on the ivory scale to complement the style of the knife . An exceptional knife with scrimshaw by a exceptional artist. The blade has not be hardened nor sharpened. USPS Priority Mail delivery insured is $20. All Sales Final
