Rare-Stag Fightn Rooster Display- Proto Knife 2 of 2 Unbelievable file work, 5 blade, scrolled bolsters Start Price USD 2,200.00 Current Price USD 2,200.00 Time Left - Bid Count 0 Buy It Now Price - Reserve Price - Start Time Friday, November 07, 2008 End Time Sunday, December 07, 2008 Location Youngsville, PA See more about 'Rare-Stag Fightn Rooster Display- Proto Knife 2 of 2' Description      Up for bid is this super rare Fight'n Rooster Display- Prototype Knife in stone-cold mint condition.  I have never seen one of these sell on E-Bay or be offered as far as that goes.  This knife is 8 1/4" closed with a 6 1/2" main blade.  The knife is only 2 of 2 ever made .  The knife has beaufiful flawless stag handles.  It has nickel silver bolsters ,shield,pins and a brass liner.  This beauty has some of the most remarkable file work done on a knife that I have ever seen or owned.  All five blades are stamped.  The main blade and one other is stamped-Sheffield with the roosters.  Two are stamped Frank Buster over Cutlery over England, and just one is stamped Stainless over Sheffield, England.  The main blade is also etched 2 of 2.  I figure this knife to be produced from the Late 70's.  I was told by another knife collector that these knives comes once in a lifetime,as many are locked away in vaults not sold to the public.  As you can see in the pictures the bolsters and the band have gorgeous scroll work  on them.  Frank has left his mark as you can see in these Custom knives,these are the finest of his work as far as I see things.  I can not say enough about this knife, it is all you will ever want for the serious Fight'n Rooster collector.  Why have several to clean when you can own one display  knife as rare as this one as my one friend states.  You will not be disappointed with this knife.  I was fortunate enough to be able to purchase this knife in a huge Rooster collection.   As you all know his Franks knives have doubled after his passing and these knives were at least at my asking price when they came out.  I may be way under the mark on price so make yourself a great investment.     Please email me or call 814-563-4725 with any questions you may have.  Thank you for looking....
