Start Price USD 1,500.00 Current Price USD 1,500.00 Time Left - Bid Count 0 Buy It Now Price - Reserve Price - Start Time Sunday, November 30, 2008 End Time Tuesday, December 30, 2008 Location Carlsbad, California See more about 'Rare Beccon Enamelware 4 Burner Table Top Stove' Description Here we have a very rare Turn-of-the-Century Enamelware Table Top Stove in remarkable condition!  This Beccon 4 burner stove has never been fired up as indicated by the original cotton wicks that show minor discoloration but no burn residue.  Graniteware collectors know that table top stoves are very hard to find in any condition but this one is near mint and even has it's matching brick red enamel coffee pot.  All 7 of it's separate pieces is included and the Gold "Beccon Origineel" lettering is 99% intact.  The glass and brass flame window is undamaged and all four black plastic burner knobs are working although two are cracked and one has a piece missing.  In my pictures, the cracked knobs are the ones on the right with the far right knob showing the most damage with the hole.  Nearly all of the enamel surfaces are in like new condition with no touch-ups or repairs.  The coffee pot is the only piece that has missing enamel and the only piece that shows signs of use or wear.  While the inside of the pot shows coffee stains, it is fairly clean and shows no rust or damage.  Overall height is about 17" when all pieces are stacked together.  This set was purchased years ago at an Indiana farm estate sale and is the only one I have ever seen.  Beccon put their name on this set 7 times.  It's designed into the cast iron grill, embossed on each of the 4 burner knobs and stenciled in gold paint on the front of the flame bucket.  In 10+ years I have not found any history on the Beccon company.  If you know anything about the Beccon company or own a Beccon product of any kind, please drop me a note and I will share it with anyone interested.  There are so many different components to this item that I believe it to be the most deluxe version of a table top stove to be produced.  This is a fantastic find for the advanced graniteware collector.  Very nice!
