All of my dealer specials, until now, have been stamped only with the small Randall trademark stamp generally found on blades forged from 3/16 inch stock. During a recent forging run of my Bowles Skinner, a group of my Skinner blades were inadvertently stamped with the large Randall trademark stamp. Fifty blades were stamped with this large trademark stamp before the mistake was discovered. I received authorization to release these unique, mis-stamped knives in their own numbered limited edition. These will be the only examples of my Randall dealer specials to carry the large trademark stamp. Once these are gone, there will be no more. This large stamp limited edition is etched Bowles Ltd. #29 and features a 4-5/8 inch stainless steel blade forged from 1/4" stock, a shortened brass single hilt, brass and black spacers. The contoured, single finger grip handle is crafted from a nicely figured piece of Mediterranean Briar. The briar is a bush that grows in all forests of the Mediterranean area, from Greece to Argelia including Italy, France, Spain and Morocco. This bush develops a ball-like root which is cut in blocks, cured and dried. Most of these blocks are used for making smoking pipes but a small percentage of the roots produce figured blocks large enough for knife handles. The handle carries a special gold plated RMK/LTD medallion inlayed in the butt. The unique Sullivan's sheath features the Randall Made-Rick Bowles Special stamp on the toe and I've signed and dated the back.                                                       Rick Bowles Place a Bid!
