Description This is a  RARE  Winchester Advertising Piece!!  After I purchased it at an antique auction,  I have searched for several months to figure out the value, and could not  find one like this ANYWHERE!!  I did see a few collectable vintage gun magazines with advertising Winchester 'Bird Guns' with similar pictures. Three dimensional ,and very  beautiful Canadian Geese in flight.  The wood  background is almost 25 1/2"  in length, and 13 1/4"  in width.  Printed in tan ink with highlights of black are the words:  THE LEADER.  This can be seen in the upper right, near the leading goose.  Also printed in the same tan ink at the bottom , in the middle is the copyright symbol and a 'W'.  This is a little hard to see due to the age of the piece and the color blending in with the wood, no black highlight here.I think the geese are made of metal and then painted.  I have done nothing to this piece except dust it a little.  There is a small amount of paint that has chipped off on the leading bird on his beak, and the  right side of his neck.  The second bird (upper) has some paint  missing also from his beak and scant amount on his left mid wing.  The third goose (lower) has , again paint off from his beak, and under the right wing.  None of these small areas are very noticeable when looking at the piece as a whole.  The areas missing the paint are medium gray and blend in fairly well, could be touched up if the winner of this  auction wanted too.  I suggest leaving it as is so as not to decrease the value.Weight is almost 3.25 pounds.If you have any questions please feel free to Email me.International bidders may contact me for a shipping quote.Thanks for looking and GOOD LUCK!!
