He was appointed the Honourary Consul for British Columbia, Canada, for the Constitutional Government of the Republic of Poland in Exile, May 3, 1988. Boddington was awarded the Knight of the Polish Order of the White Eagle, November 11, 1988. He was awarded the Polish Order of St. Stanislaus, 1st Class, September 15, 1990. The Captain was awarded the Officer’s Cross of the Polish Order of St. Stanislaus, May 3, 1989. He was awarded the Polish Order of Virtuti Militari Silver Merit Cross, November 11, 1988, “For distinguished services rendered in the field of Veteran’s groups and organizations.” Boddington was awarded the Polish Order of Polonia Restituta, 1st Class, January 1, 1988. He was awarded a Polish Order, July 1, 1985, “for outstanding and valuable services rendered to the cause of free Poland.” The Captain was awarded the Polish Cross of Merit, 1st Class, with Swords, July 3, 1985, “for great services rendered to Combattants’ Organisations.” He was awarded a Polish Medal, July 3, 1985, “for services.” Boddington was awarded a Polish Medal, January 1, 1985, “for distinguished services rendered in support of the cause of Free Poland.” He was awarded a medal of recognition from the Polish Army and Resistance in France (certificate numbered: GB21). The Captain was awarded the Polish General Sikorski Centennial Medal (certificate numbered: 14). Sold with set of matching miniature medals, original award certificates, and some research.
