Description
European issue only (as are all items from this era). In the 10+ years I have been on EBAY, I have searched for these and they rarely surface even in Europe. Also you rarely ever see loose or single cards! I have in my own collection several different complete albums for things like the 1936 Olympics, aviation, and more. Some card sets are 180 and there are even variations in text on the back. These albums were made to hold small picture cards (1 5/8 x 2 1/2 inches) AND here's the kicker--they all have a text ad on the back mentioning PEZ! WHY? I have no idea. But these are old, rare and a really cool item. ATTENTION-- regarding condition.....the front cover has a large portion missing and the back cover is completely missing. 40 pages with sections devoted to planes, dirigibles, zeppelins, helicopter, and balloons. 2 pages have crayon markings. NOTE--all these cards have been glued into the album. NO MENTION of PEZ is in the album itself--just on the backs of the cards. Most of the time, people glued these in so well they can't be removed without destroying the cards. These were neatly glued on tips of 4 corners so IF YOU WANTED...you could gently remove most of them (no guarantee you will be satisfied with the results) but it would remove surface paper from the back of the card in the 4 corners. I removed one to take a pic of the back. In 20 years of dealing PEZ, I have never offered one for sale and never seen one at a convention. Price is a cheap $5/card ! Album free.......if you buy all the cards with it. Powered by eBay Turbo ListerThe free listing tool. List your items fast and easy and manage your active items. On Nov-07-08 at 11:26:45 PST, seller added the following information: If you buy multiple items from me, I do combine shipping. PAYMENT-General Info   PAYMENTS- USAPLEASE do not use EBAY request total. I normally invoice within 24 hours. I accept PAYPAL, credit cards (through my own credit card processor). VISA/MASTERCARD accepted with my processor on orders OVER $100 ONLY (you can email, fax or call in your credit card info). Illinois residents add 7.25% sales tax. I usually try to invoice you through the EBAY system BUT sometimes I need to invoice you directly to your personal email address SO adjust your email or SPAM settings accordingly please. PAYMENT-FOREIGN ORDERS (see SHIPPING-FOREIGN for postage estimates)Due to the increased work and fees involved, I am adding a 5% handling fee to all foreign orders so if your order is $100 + $10 shipping then the additional 5% fee would be $5.50. PLEASE NOTE: I also charge for shipping a MINIMUM of 1 pound regardless if your package weighs less (some exceptions can possibly be made for paper items). Please do not bid unless you are prepared to pay for these charges. PAYPAL- payments over $200If you win an item (or items) totaling over $200 on EBAY, PLEASE consider using the E-CHECK method of paying as it saves me being charged fees over $5. For example, a $500 order paid through PAYPAL will cost me about $16. But an E-CHECK has a maximum fee of $5.....even if the order is for $4500 ! The E-CHECK takes 2-4 days to clear in the USA, a little longer for foreign. If needed, I can explain to you how to pay with the PAYPAL E-CHECK. SHIPPING & INSURANCE SHIPPING-USA I PACK VERY WELL. I HAVE BEEN AN ANTIQUE AND COLLECTIBLE MAIL ORDER DEALER FOR 30+ YEARS. As a rule, unless item is fairly small, light, and cheap, minimum shipping and insurance is $8.50 in the USA. It is very rare that an item can be shipped for under $5.00 in the USA. I will try to be flexible (within reason) regarding shipping method BUT generally, I ship items INSURED a) under $300 with the Post Office via Priority Mail b) over $300 within the USA via UPS (insured) only. So, PLEASE DO NOT BID unless you can provide a street address for UPS or have made arrangements with me otherwise BEFORE the auction! c) over $1000 to $25,000 with Post Office Registered Mail (insured)  SHIPPING-FOREIGN Here are sample foreign postage rates (does NOT include insurance) to the following countries: Australia, Brazil, Europe, Japan, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, UK: 1 pound box- $11, 2 pound box-$17, 3 pound box-$24 Canada: 1 pound box- $6, 2 pound box-$10, 3 pound box-$14 NOTE- I charge by the FULL POUND, so a 2 pound 4 ounce box will be charged as 3 pounds. I PACK VERY WELL. I HAVE BEEN AN ANTIQUE AND COLLECTIBLE MAIL ORDER DEALER FOR 30+ YEARS.Due to increased fees and work involving foreign shipments, I charge a 5% handling fee on all orders (that’s 5% of item cost and shipping cost combined) PLEASE NOTE: I will charge you for shipping at a MINIMUM of 1 pound regardless if your package weighs less (some exceptions can possibly be made for paper items). Please do not bid unless you are prepared to pay for these charges. I do not give refunds for uninsured items lost in shipping. So far this has only happened once in 10 years. ===================================================================== INSURANCE- I have an insurance policy with Collectibles Insurance Services, Hunt Valley, MD which covers my insurance on outgoing packages so you might, in some cases, see no evidence of insurance (tags, bar code stickers, shipping cost, etc) on the actual shipping box even though you paid me for insurance. ====================================================================== SELLER INFO Offered by DAVID WELCH author of COLLECTING PEZ 1995 and Pictorial Guide to Plastic Candy Dispensers 1991. You will notice that the very few negative feedbacks I have received in over 10+ years are from: 1-non-paying bidders who retaliated for me giving them a negative first 2-sellers who RETALIATED after I left them a negative (for selling me a bad item or giving extremely poor service) 3-those rare people who seem to never be satisfied no matter what you do 4-the occasional random psycho 5-people who do not READ the description or terms of my auctionsIf you have questions about any negatives I have received, feel free to email me and ask. HOW I HANDLE FEEDBACK If I am the seller, I give feedback AFTER the buyer does. Why? When the buyer leaves me positive feedback, it indicates they are satisfied and the deal is completed. I ALWAYS give return feedback in such cases. If I am the buyer, I leave feedback first and hope you will do the same. I do not beg, pester or threaten people over feedback and would appreciate the same from you. THANK YOU TO THE PATIENT AND REALISTIC PEOPLE WHO MAKE 98% of EBAY DEALINGS A PLEASURE. =============================================================================
