The silver ends have been hallmarked with CH for Charles Horner, the lion passant for sterling silver, Chester assay office mark, and the date latter J for 1909/10. AGE Circa 1909. SIZE The hat pins measure 11.2cm (4¼") long, with the end measuring 1.4cm (¼") at widest point. CONDITION The hat pin is in a very good condition for age, with no damage to the silver, although there is some pitting to the steel pin.
