Shelf is 30" long x 6 3/4" tall x 7 1/2" wide. It has an ornate spindle railing. Excellent original finish with minumal to no wear! The only thing I see is that around the ornate design on the bottom (Clover leaf shaped cut out) is a small amount of wear. It is minumal and did not show up very well in my photo.
