This offering is for a late Georgian, early Victorian era miniature enamel decanter label for a Perfume Bottle or Cologne decanter carafe.  In the manner of Bilston or Battersea Enamels, it is a classic shield shape with a ground of white enamel on what appears to be copper.  Hand painted in the enamel is a pink garland and bow surrounded by green leaves, orange balls or fruit and a blue garland and fleur de lis bottom design, surrounding 'White Rose', significant chip to right loop through to copper base as seen in photo, signed underglaze on reverse with what looks like a stylized cursive F in blue, retains original brass multi link chain, silver replaced rings.  Chain measures approx 6 inches long, label approx 1 x 1 3/16ths inches.  Am offering another perfume label today.   Happy to combine and or rush packages, just drop me a line and tell me what you need and take a look at my other auctions.
