Description: Curved hand-forged blade is made of Damascus folded steel and decorated with chased and gilt ornamental images of tulips. The blade is a single edge with double edge tip for armor piercing most likely dating it to the end of the XVII - beginning of XVIII century. The hilt is made of horn, cross guard is brass. Leather covered scabbard has brass fittings. The sword shows heavy wear, several vintage repairs wear to its original leather and minor loss at the end of the scabbard fitting, but overall is in good condition considering its age.
