Baskett Colt 45 Lockback Knife !' Description This is a neat one by Lee Gene Baskett of Eastview, Kentucky. One of his “Colt .45” lockbacks, this one is 4 3/8” long (including the tail lock/lanyard hole) and about 6 3/4" overall length with the blade open. The 2 3/8” long saber and deep hollow ground blade is probably 440-C. Wonderful hand rubbed satin finish! The liners are stainless and file worked all around, the backspring/lock is file worked, too. The scales are beautiful ironwood burl held to the liners with two large engraved stainless pins. Gorgeous knife, one of Gene’s ‘signature’ pieces!
