It says Stockholm on it and features a round up of gold and St. Erik, the patron saint of Stockholm. At one time it probably hung in the City Hall of Stockholm or related offices as this is where it originally came from or it may have hung somewhere else in the city.  I don't know it's age but it is definitely a collectable over 50 years old. It is 10 inches high by 6 3/4" wide. There are some places where the tank has worn off (very small and minute) on the blue part of this shield. It would make a unique item for hanging in your home or for a child to use as a shield at a Renaissance Festival.
