The Mary Todd Lincoln view offered here was purchased at the Bonhams & Butterfields November 2004 auction of the holdings of the famous Lincoln collector Lloyd Ostendorf, famous for his catalog of Lincoln photographs. Ostendorf also wrote a catalog of all known photographs of Mary Lincoln and this view is represented in the catalog. Another copy of this view in similar condition was sold by noted dealer Russell Norton in 2001 for $2500. Consignor's Minimum is $1,900. I suggest registering the view for an extra $12.50.
