The sword is hand-forged, and of a very tough high carbon steel. The guard and pommel are of brass, and the balance is simply superb. Authorized and approved by Robert Jordan, this sword is an accurate copy of those blades in The Wheel of Time series. The Heron Mark Sword is a superb example of the swordmaker's art. Up for auction we have one fully functional, battle ready "Heron Mark Sword" by Windlass Steelcrafts in like new condition.  Auction includes leather scabbard with brass furniture.  This beautiful, two handed saber style sword has never been used for cutting anything.  Sword was sharpened by the manufacturer and it is lethal sharp.  Overall length is 42 inches.  High carbon steel blade measures 32 inches.  Blade is in perfect condition with no rust, staining or pitting.  This blade has been waxed for protection.  Brass pommel and guard are flawless.  I use Renaissance wax on all my European style blades to keep them in tip top shape.  Wooden handle is wrapped in blue suede and brass wire, as is absoutely perfect.  Sword feels light and handles exceptionally well with one hand or two.  This is one of the better Windlass swords, and everything is very tight and put together very attractively.  This is one of the nicest looking swords ever produced by Windlass Steelcrafts and certainly makes for a great display piece.  I hate to part with it but I will have a new addition to my family soon so I have to start clearing out things both for making room and the sake of safety.  I originally paid $293.00 for this sword with the sharpening service but I'm starting this auction off at a fraction of that amount - $179.00 with no reserve!  That's about 40% off the MSRP.     Payment is expected within five days of auction close.  Shipping will run $20.00 to ship to the lower 48.  Everywhere else, please email for quote.  Sword will be expertly packaged and shipped promptly upon receipt of payment.  I do offer combined shipping for buyers who win more than one item.  IMPORTANT!  Seller assumes no liability for any damage or injury caused by the use or misuse of this item.  By bidding on this item, you certify that you are at least 18 years of age and that it is legal for you to possess this weapon where you reside.  All sales on weapons are final - no returns.  If you have any questions, please ask them prior to bidding.  Thanks and good luck!                  Place a Bid!
