We think it is the best military/tactical knife on the market. It has a 3.90 inch blade built from premium CPM-S30V high-carbon stainless steel for tremendous cutting power and edge retention. We heat treat, temper and cryogenically freeze eaach blade to obtain the maximum performance from the premium CPM-S30V steel. This steel is the best available for a tactical field knife being extremely tough, corrosion resistant and holds its edge extremely well! The Tactical blade design provides a strong blade tip for rugged use, easy piercing and cutting under the most extreme conditions. The blade pivot hardware is heat-treated stainless steel for added toughness and all the fasteners and pocket clip are stainless steel.      The handle is red & black layered Micarta. This material is tough, has a non-slip surface and is very good looking. Open frame style construction makes the T2 easy to clean.
