This basket comes from a collection which I recently accepted to sell on consignment from a local collector who used to be a home consultant.  The home of the consignment client was smoke-free. This Traditions Basket Set is one of the best of the consignment lot!  This Basket itself is in GREAT condition.  It shows very little wear and only a few very minor surface scuffs.  There are no cracked or broken splints.   The basket comes with its original product card which reads 'Longaberger Traditions Collection Hospitality Basket 1998 Edition' although the actual date on the basket bottom is 1999.  My guess is that it was probably offered for sale in late 1998, but not woven until early 1999. The Basket has a woven reinforced bottom and one stationary handle.  Its Green accent weaving has aged nicely. The Basket measures approximately 18" by 14" by 5" high. The Basket came to me with two protectors.  The first plastic protector is the Single Protector style.  It shows  surface scratches but has no cracks.  The second plastic protector is a Divided Style made from a very sturdy, heavy plastic.  It is divided seven ways and shows similar surface scratches, but absolutely no cracks. The protectors are little dusty/dirty.  I'm selling this basket set in the condition it was given to me. This GENTLY USED Basket Set is available for immediate shipment.
