The 72 comb helmet, which is not common, can be rated overall very good condition, has a rare brass Whippet finial . Helmet liner is intact with the maker's name on the brass tag disk inside of the helmet, along with the owner's name. There are no breaks, cracks, wire showing, all original paint, fomation date on the rear brim, never restored in any way. In the past and at this time the are several Eagle and Lion finial helmets on eBay but seldom in recent years a Whippet finial appeared in any condition. The helmet was from the Laurel Fire Company, York , Pa. the most prestigious company in that city. Payment must be received within ten days and insurance is mandatory.
