I ordered  this in 1982 From Jimmy Lile at  my local Gun and Knife show  and I received it in 1983. It  was the 5th Jimmy Lile Knife I received from him and it comes with the original sales invoice from him and all of the Factory Catalogues he offered then.  These catalogues are in plastic from the day I received the knife in 1983. Has the original shipping box, the piece of leather Jimmy put on the tip of the blade to protect it in transit AND all Factory packaging that came with this knife when Jimmy Lile shipped it.  This was special ordered  with the  Heavy Black cord wrapped handle  and my others were  the more common thin green cord wrapped handle most were and it has the black plastic tape he put on the handle where the cord was tied  to protect  the cord. I  put this piece of tape in a plastic bag at that time. This original included Brown Jim Buffaloe Sheath, note Jim Buffaloe made all the sheaths for the very early Liles, later Johnson Sheath co. made Jimmy Lile sheaths.  This Buffaloe sheath has the brass EZ-LAP sharpening tool pouch mounted on the side of the sheath and I have not seen another like this rare one, as they were mounted on the front of the sheaths by Buffaloe and later the Johnson Sheath Co. Auction includes another Jimmy Lile Jim Buffaloe sheath in Black in addition to the Brown Sheath  and another Brass EZ-Lap sharpening tool with one EZ-Lap leather pouch.
