Pin CushionOOAK~A Unique Handcrafted creation~by Janie Comito*It is nearly the beginning of Holiday Season.  As usual mice are in the picture in Janie's workshop.  Here perched on top of a Janie made velvet crazy quilt pin cushion designed to fit perfectly into a wonderful tiny vintage basket, is none other than 'A MOUSE'.  An  offering to brighten the jolly Holiday Season ~    The mouse is made from dense pile hand tinted upholstery velvet and measures  2 1/4" long; his tail and ears are stiffened heavy wool felt; his eyes are bright black onyx.   He sits beside a  stick pin hand crafted  of wool felt with winter greenery and the word  'MOUSE' hand embroidered on one side and a mouse's tiny face on the other .  The basket, from the 1940s, stands just 3" tall from base to top of handle.  The mouse is firmly sewn to the pin cushion (he will not be stirring). Glass head pins shown in the photographs are included ~ of course.~ A wonderfully festive holiday collectible that doubles as a pin cushion and fanciful decoration. ~*** Please note that this creation is intended for the adult collector...
