Hum 31 double Crownmark, 12x9cm  //  ca. 3,5"x4,75" LUCKEY ´ S  HUMMEL FIGURINES / Collector`s identification and value guide / 9th edition: This is a multifigure piece quite similar to Hum 54 " silent night" extremely rare! This piece was produced arround 1935 with a BLACK CHILD ANGEL appearing on the left side. It is otherwise almost identical to "Silent night"  and is frequently referred to as "silent night with black child". It is believed that it was removed from production due to Hitler`s extreme radical prejudice. There are none of these known to be for sale, but if found and placed on the market it would probably bring US dollars 12`000.--  - 15`000.--.  There have been a few Hum 31`s discovered in recent years in which there is no black child.
