If you do not know what that is please contact Paypal before bidding. This auction is for an extremely rare handmade Kit Carson Model 4 with 4" 6K Stellite blade and grooved Titanium scales. A word about the scales on this knife. In 1996 I had a chat with Kit at which time he told me that his son was responsible for machining these scales and that that year was to be the last of these scales.. I bought this knife about a decade ago and Kit told me this knife was one of only three that he made in this combo. The three knives were designed for tactical use by guys who would be in or near salt water so Kit chose to use materials with absolutely no iron in them. This knife is made entirely with Stellite and Titaium, including the clip, back strap, and all the screws! As I said, there are only three like this in existence. Condition of this knife is mint, as-new, with no issues at all. Action is like silk with tight lock-up There are no signs of this knife ever being carried and it has not been sharpened by anyne other than Kit.
