Description
This minature bottle is of the 'TONOPAH SALOON"   in Tonopah, NV "The Queen of the Silver Camps". This bottle is in excellent condtion, no chips, no scratches, no blemishes, still has it's original tax stamp. Bottle has never been opened. I purchased this bottle several years ago and now I feel it is time for someone else to have it. The figures on the front, four gamblers and a dealer, and a roulette table are in relief, on the back is a short story about "Jim Butler" the founder of Tonopah. On the bottom is the date 1975 and the words "HASS BROS". Bottle is appx. 5" high and 5" across. Bottle contains 80 proof straight bourbon whiskey*, distilled in Kentucky. It was bottled by the W.A. LACEY CO., San Franciso CA. But I cannot find any records of the W. A. LACEY  company today. Good Luck to all bidders.                       Tonopah NV, was started about 1900 with the discovery of rich gold/silver ore by the lost burro of a prospector, Jim Butler. The burro had wandered off during the night and had sought shelter near a rock outcropping. When Butler discovered the animal the next morning, he picked up a rock to throw at the beast, but instead noticed the rock was unusually heavy. He had stumbled upon the second-richest silver strike in Nevada history. The ore eventually played out, and abandoned mines can be found throughout the area. There are still many casinos today in Tonopah.   *The value of this item is in the collectible container, not its contents. I want to assure everyone bidding that they are not bidding on the contents but on the bottle itself.  The container has not been opened and the contents are not intended for consumption.  The container has a value that substantially exceeds the current retail price of the alcohol in the bottle.  Seller will ensure that the sale complies with all  shipping regulations and buyer confirms they are of legal age to purchase said liquor.
