A full half year's run of this excellent comic bound in red cloth boards.Each issue measures 10.5 x 14.5 inches and has 16 pages apart from theSummer & Christmas Specials which have 24 pages.  The Big Budget combined four pages of comic strip with twelve pages of text stories.  It clearlyaimed itself at a wide age range, the comic strips appealing to the younger reader whilethe school and mystery stories were addressed to the older teenage boy or girl or even adult.The stories are mostly adventures, mysteries and thrillers and this volume includes the entirefull length novel serial "A Madman's Millions" by Henry Farmer.It also includes the Katzenjammer Kids comic strip.The Easter Holiday Issue has some pages in colour, a rare occurrence ina comic of this era. I purchased a small collection of these bound volumes of comics which appearto have been publishers' file copies and am listing them all on eBay this week.Please do check out my other listings. The cloth binding is a little handled and  marked.  However,apart from a clipping removed from one page, the comics are all in excellent, clean condition with just a touch of light tanning tothe margins.  At one time we were one of the world's leading catalogue dealers in Vintage Pin-up and Glamour items.Having not traded for several years we are now back in business, this time on eBay, looking to work through our enormous back inventory.
