Ah what a fine vintage lady of 1961, the shortest manufacturing time of all the featherweights, the tan (or beige if you prefer) was only made during 61 and 62. This one is in fine gift giving condition.  Her serial number of:JE160625 dates her to 1961. Production was at Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Quebec, Canada. Current is 110 volts. Note that the foot control is the same shade of tan as the machine! This is the original foot control, not a replacement. All the wires are sound with no cracks or splits anywhere!!!! She has been completely cleaned, oiled and lubed and a new belt is provided.  She purrs like a kitten.  I think you will agree, she is very clean. No gunky old lubricant, no rust anywhere and no hitchiking dust bunnies. She comes to you complete with original Singer bobbin casing, original tan tension assembly and original tan foot control. The motor is original and bears the red S. The original case is present. The case has done it's job of protecting the machine well. And it has some exterior battle wounds to prove it! I would rate the case in good condition. The interior has been redone in a period design wallpaper that compliments the case color very nicely. The original interior side accessory box holder is present. This style of case has a top lid mount for the foot control. Only minor flaws to the shiny paint, duly noted in the photographs and to be expected from a vintage lady of 47 years! I have completed your little treasure with a nice compliment of attachments. I thought you'd rather see the machine:-) Singer buttonholer in the green case: Oiled, tested and working with 5 templates, feed cover and original Singer mounting screw. Complete with instruction booklet showing you how to do monograming and embroidery using the buttonholer! Original Singer attachments in the box: Singer ruffler, Singer zipper/piping foot #160854, Singer bias tape foot #160847, Simanco rolled hemmer #189653 and Singer hemmer #35931. 4 ORIGINAL VINTAGE SINGER bobbins (one in the bobbin casing). Singer attachment box. The box shows signs of it's age but corners are all strong and tight. SINGER Owners manual. A COMPLETE set of 15 Greist attachments! Including the necessary attachment foot so often lost but mandatory to use these feet on your new featherweight. Also completely cleaned and rust free. A copy of the instructions for the Greist attachments and sample sew outs using the Greist feet. Also included but not vintage: a walking foot and a feed plate cover for free motion work. This little cutie will be double boxed for safe delivery to your door. I have been told that I pack a mean machine! It will have plenty of bubble wrap.
